Katie's passion for art began as a young girl through drawing and painting, which gradually blossomed into her favorite art form, photography. She has always been a very focused individual and always seeking to be her best. Her academic accomplishments led her down a medicine path and became a Physician Assistant in 2007.

While Katie loves practicing medicine, in her off time she is liberated when looking through the lens of her camera. Her favorite subjects are children and newborns, but she also loves working with couples and people of all ages. Using her talents as a medical professional, Katie has been gifted with the ability to connect with others and capture wonderful moments and memories. Her primary goal is to document love in the very truest form, and she very much looks forward to working with you.

Why Ruby Lane? “Ruby” makes Katie think of her twin sister, Rebekah, every time she hears it. Ruby was part of the name of her sister's favorite song, and has even become a nickname for her twin. Katie's bond of twinship has been pivotal to her strength, which has been very important to her photography.

Katie resides in Milwaukee and serves Southeasten Wisconsin and Chicago areas. She is also happy to travel to any other location for an additional fee.
